Teach's Hole Blackbeard Exhibit and Pirate Specialty Shop was established on Ocracoke Island in 1992. The Pirate Specialty Shop offers over one thousand items that relate to piracy.  Such items include pirate books, pirate toys, pirate flags, pirate tee shirts, pirate jewelry, maps, art, music, and much more.  This shop is a one-stop source for all your “piratical piratephernalia” needs.
    The exhibit features a life-size recreation of Blackbeard, a weapons display, old bottles, original art, woodcuts of Blackbeard, pirate flag displays, a short documentary about Blackbeard's life and death here at Ocracoke, scale models of Blackbeard's ships, and new for 2012 a display of medical tools like those found on the Queen Anne's revenge.
   Store Hours: Tuesday - Saturday 1:00pm - 5:00pm
     Exhibit closes 30 minutes prior to store closing.
